Fulfilling the Call Training the Next Generation
to Live for Others and Not Just Themselves.

The greatest gift we have to give to the next generation is to teach them to love as God first loved us. The heart beat of any Christian needs to be the the heart beat of our Heavenly Father which is to go into all the world and preach the gospel (Mark 16:15). We've been called to reach our city, our province, our country, and the world with the Love of God (Acts 1:8).

VCS fulfills this mandate in various ways throughout the year. Students are given the opportunity to participate in the following:

See You At The Pole - September
- World Wide Students meet at their flag pole to pray for families, leaders, their country, etc..

Samaritan's Purse - Christmas Shoebox Program
- Each class packs at least 2 shoeboxes, one boy and one girl, with new items the students bring in to donate. Change for Change (Support of Partner's International)
- Classes compete to see which class can bring in the most change in the designated month. The class that wins gets to choose what we buy as a school for a village or family in another country. It could be a goat, cow, pig, sewing machines, bicycles, a water well. Whatever the greatest need is, in a particular country.

Outreaches to the City of Edmonton.
- Victory Christian Center has Bi-Monthly outreaches to the city of Edmonton that students can volunteer to be a part of.

Annual Jr-Sr High Spring Break Mission Trip
-Students in grades 6-12 can be apart of an International Mission Trip During Spring Break
-Students who would like to be considered as part of the Mission Team apply in September. Once they have been accepted training begins.
- Commitment is made in the following areas: Personal Spiritual Development, Boot Camp in September, Academic Effort, Weekly Lunch Hour Prayer/Meetings, and Saturday Training Meetings to develop as a team in the Word, Worship, Drama, and Practical training.
